Actor Priyamani has carved a distinct space for herself in Indian cinema, moving seamlessly between languages, genres, and platforms. In a recent interview, the Good Wife actor opened up about what drives her choice of roles and what it’s like collaborating with some of Bollywood’s biggest names.

When asked about her selection process, Priyamani explained to IANS that she follows her instincts above all. “It is not like I do roles only from a particular genre. I choose roles that I like,” she said. “If I find them convincing—that yes, I can do this—and I see myself doing it, only then do I do it. Otherwise, I don’t.”

The actor, who has worked with Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Manoj Bajpayee, reflected on the experience of sharing screen space with such celebrated performers. “Each one of them is unique and a superstar in their own right. Their working styles are very distinct,” she shared. “I feel extremely lucky to have worked with them so early in my career. And yes, given the opportunity, I’d love to work with all of them again.”

Priyamani added that she deeply admires their dedication and discipline. “They’ve all worked extremely hard to reach where they are. Their success is well deserved, and I wish them all the best always.”

Fans will remember Priyamani’s recent appearances alongside some of these stars; as Lakshmi in Atlee’s blockbuster Jawan opposite Shah Rukh Khan, and as Syed Abdul Rahim’s wife in Ajay Devgn’s sports drama Maidaan. She also played Suchitra, the wife of Manoj Bajpayee’s character, in the acclaimed Prime Video series The Family Man. Up next, she will be seen in Vijay's Jana Nayagan.
