Meanwhile, on the work front, Shruti Haasan was recently seen playing a key role in Rajinikanth's Coolie as Sathyaraj's daughter. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and released ahead of Independence day featured a star-studded cast including Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, and Rachita Ram while Aamir Khan and Pooja Hegde were seen in cameo roles.
