After an unexpected postponement, Ajith Kumar's Attagasam now has a new re-release date. Directed by Saran, the film was initially scheduled to hit theatres on October 31, 21 years after its original release. However, the action entertainer was taken down from ticket booking platforms and postponed a day before its release, disappointing fans and audiences who had purchased tickets to watch the film.
The move was met with criticism from social media users who expressed their anger for the team's improper planning and management. Attagasam will now be released on November 28. According to the newly-shared poster, a fresh trailer is also set to be unveiled on November 23.
Attagasam also stars Pooja while Sujatha, Nizhalgal Ravi, Babu Antony, Karunas, and Ramesh Khanna play key roles. It had music by Bharadwaj with cinematography by Venkatesh Anguraj and editing by Suresh Urs.
Attagasam remains one of Ajith’s most celebrated commercial entertainers, known for its gripping action, energetic soundtrack, and his commanding screen presence. The film was widely appreciated upon release and still holds a special place in the hearts of fans today.
