For your information, it is not the camera they used to shoot Kaantha, but rather it is on the sets of the film within the film. Cinematographer Marcus Bartley used a Mitchell Camera for Mayabazar, widely regarded as one of the greatest-ever films in Indian cinema. Rana said that the use of the camera is the special aspect of Kaantha and that it is also featured in the trailer for the upcoming film.

Rana disclosed that his co-star Dulquer Salmaan was quite specific about which car to use for the film and even what tyres it should have. "He was very thorough about it and constantly checked what car comes in a frame, as he has a keen interest in cars," Rana said about Dulquer Salmaan.
