

After a long wait, the makers of Non Violence, starring Bobby Simha, Metro Shirish and Yogi Babu in lead roles, have shared an update regarding the film. Shriya Saran, who was last seen in Teja Sajja's Mirai, will be performing a special number titled 'Kanaga' in the upcoming film. Stills of the song has been shared by team where the actor was seen shaking a leg along with Metro Shirish. The film, which was announced in 2024, is helmed by Ananda Krishnan, who is known for directing Metro (2016) and Kodiyil Oruvan (2021).
Backed by Lekha of AK Pictures, Non Violence also stars Aditi Balan, Adithya Kathir and Garuda Ram in supporting roles.
The film is set in Madurai in the 90s and will reportedly revolve around events occurring inside the premises of a prison in the city during the period.
Non Violence has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. NS Uthayakumar cranks the camera, Srikanth NB is on the editing table while lyrics have been written by Vivek. Though the makers are yet to announce a release date, the film is set to release in Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, along with Tamil.
