

We had previously reported that Poornima Ravi will be headlining a film titled Yellow. The makers have now locked a release date for the film. Directed by newcomer Hari Mahadevan, the upcoming film will mark the actor's first time leading a movie by herself and is slated to release in theatres on November 21.
The first look of the film was released by the makers on August 23 with the tagline, 'The world holds many hidden surprises for the next second.' The release poster features Poornima seated with Vaibhav Murugesan in front of a waterfall and engaged in a romantic conversation. Namita Krishnamurthy also plays a key role in the film. Much details about the rest of the cast and plot are kept under wraps.
On the technical team, the film has music by Cliffy Chris and Anand Kashinath, cinematography by Abi Advik, editing by Sri Watson and art direction by Karthick Krishnan. Yellow is backed by Prasanth Rangasamy while Uthraa Productions is handling the state-wide release of the film.
Poornima Ravi, who debuted with Plan Panni Pannanum in 2021, rose to fame with Bigg Boss Tamil show's seventh season in 2023. She also played notable roles in Nayanthara's Annapoorani, the OTT film Sevappi, Nalla Perai Vaanga Vendum Pillaigale and the recent film Trauma.
