As actor Shah Rukh Khan turned 60 on Sunday, celebrities, sports personalities, and politicians have been wishing the 'Badshah of Bollywood' a very happy birthday.

Actor-politician and Rajya Sabha MP Kamal Haasan wished SRK on his social media page. On his Instagram story, Kamal wrote, "To the King who never needed a crown - only a camera, charm, and that disarming with. Wishing my friend Shah Rukh Khan a birthday as grand as his heart."

It is worth noting that Kamal, on several occasions, gratefully recalled how Shah Rukh acted in his Hey Ram (2000), forgoing remuneration as the budget ran over.

On his birthday, the title reveal of his next with Siddharth Anand, King, was dropped by the makers. The director-actor duo is reuniting after their blockbuster actioner Pathaan (2023). The film also marks the second collaboration between SRK and composer Anirudh after Jawan (2023), directed by Atlee.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan, last seen in Mani Ratnam's Thug Life, has the Anbariv directorial and an almost confirmed reunion project with his contemporary Rajinikanth. The fate of the third installment of the Indian franchise hangs in the balance due to the debacle of the second part.
