Time and again, Nani has established his love for veteran actor Kamal Haasan. Recently, while promoting HIT 3, Nani spoke about a particular scene from Kamal Haasan’s Virumaandi, where the latter's method of depicting sleep inspired the former.

Kamal Haasan, who is currently busy promoting his upcoming film with Mani Ratnam, Thug Life, recently mentioned Nani’s name in an interview in the context of that particular scene. Speaking with Sudhir Srinivasan, the actor mentioned Nani’s name and said, “I don’t have to express my gratitude by saying, ‘Thank you, Nani. If I say Nani itself, it is enough. That is the beauty of cinema itself.”
