Vijay, who is currently shooting for his last film, Jana Nayagan, recently travelled to Kodaikanal to complete the final leg of production. Meanwhile, rapper, singer, songwriter and actor Hanumankind has confirmed that he has rendered a rap song in the upcoming H Vinoth directorial.
Speaking to Ananda Vikatan, Hanumankind said, “I have rendered a great rap song for Thalapathy Vijay in Jana Nayagan, composed by Anirudh.” He further mentioned that he will be visiting Chennai more often for many more interesting projects. Hanumankind is known for his song ‘Big Dawgs’ and recently also released ‘Run It Up’.
Jana Nayagan, which went on floors in October 2024, also stars Bobby Deol, Priyamani, Pooja Hegde, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mamitha Baiju, and Narain. Apart from Anirudh Ravichander, the technical crew also comprises cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan and editor Pradeep E Ragav.
The makers are yet to reveal further details about the plot. Jana Nayagan is produced by Venkat K Narayana and co-produced by Lohith N K and Jagadish Palanisamy. The film will be released in theatres on January 9, 2026, for the Pongal festival season.
