Couple of days after the first look poster of late actor Raghuvaran's documentary film, Raghuvaran: A Star That Defied Time, was launched, the makers of the film dropped the teaser video.
The over one-minute-long teaser glimpse has actors Nassar and Rohini Molletti narrating what kind of a dedicated actor he was and how he utilised his unique physique and facial features to the optimum. The glimpse had several behind-the-scenes of the actor's preparations and it ends with his iconic Baasha line: "Do you think I am Baasha to forgive, I am Antony".
Actor Raghuvaran, born in Kerala in 1958, made his acting debut with K Hariharan's Ezhavathu Manithan (1982), while parallely making his Malayalam debut in the same year in Kakka by PN Sundaram. Apart from Tamil, he went on to star in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films. Visu directorial Samsaram Adhu Minsaram, VC Guhanathan's Michael Raj, Maniratnam's Anjali, Suresh Krissna's Baashha, Balasekaran's Love Today and Saran's Amarkalam, were some of his most iconic films among several others. He had four posthumous releases in Tamil namely, Yaaradi Nee Mohini and Ellam Avan Seyal in 2008, Adada Enna Azhagu in 2009 and Ullam in 2012.
The technical crew of the documentary, directed, produced by Hasif Abida Hakeem, will also have cinematography by him, with Thamjeed Thaha as the editor and creative director, Jishnu Sreekumar and Jeffin Joe Jacob as the music composers and sound design by Sree Shankar.
Raghuvaran: A Star That Defied Time is will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi and English. The film is yet to get a release date.
