As Ajith Kumar's Good Bad Ugly is set to release in theatres on April 10, the latest update is that Karnataka's production and distribution company KVN Productions will be distributing the film in the state.
Notably, it is the production house that is backing Vijay's 69th and final film Jana Nayagan, directed by H Vinoth.
Good Bad Ugly also stars Trisha, Arjun Das, Shine Tom Chacko, BS Avinash of KGF fame, Prabhu, Prasanna, Rahul Dev, Yogi Babu, and Sunil.
Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers, the film has music by GV Prakash, who last collaborated with Ajith in Kireedam (2007). On the technical front, it also has cinematographer Abinadhan Ramanujam and editor Vijay Velukutty. Details about the film's plot are kept under wraps.
Meanwhile, Vijay has took a complete political plunge last year by floating his political party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) aiming to fight the TN state assembly polls in 2026. The actor-turned-politician said that he will complete his film commitments with Jana Nayagan and shift his focus to politics.
Jana Nayagan, which also stars Bobby Deol, Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju, Pooja Hegde, Narain, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Teejay Arunasalam, went on floors October last year.
