The first single from Mani Ratnam's Thug Life, starring Kamal Hassan, is set to be released soon. Mani Ratnam continues his collaboration with AR Rahman for this film.
The video featured Kamal Hassan, Mani Ratnam, and AR Rahman meeting Kamal Hassan, with the latter going through the lyrics of the song alongside the former.
With Kamal Hassan and Silamabarasan in the lead, the film stars Trisha, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, Abhirami, Nassar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Tanikella Bharani, Vadivukkarasi, Chinni Jayanth, Vaiyapuri, Bagavathi Perumal, Baburaj, Ali Fazal, Rohit Saraf, Arjun Chidambaram, Chetan, and Rajashri Deshpande.
Directed by Mani Ratnam, the film is produced by Ratnam, Hassan, R Mahendran, Siva Ananth and Udhayanidhi Stalin. Ravi K Chandran is the cinematographer, with Sreekar Prasad as the editor. Stunts are handled by Anbariv, with costumes designed by Eka Lakhani.
Thug Life is set to release theatrically on June 5.
