Ahead of its release on March 14, the makers of Jaayavelmurugun's Varunan dropped the lyrical video of 'Mudiyaadhe' on Monday.

This love failure song is sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja and written by Hyde Karty.

The recently released trailer shows water cans becoming a point of conflict between the film's protagonist and the rough boys in his area. Billed as a 'summer gangster story,' Varunan is written and directed by Jaayavelmurugun, produced by Karthick Sreedaran under his Yakkai Films banner, and co-produced by the director's Vaan Productions banner.

Varunan stars Dushyanth Jayaprakash and Gabriella in lead roles. It also stars Radha Ravi, Charanraj, Shankarnag Vijayan, Haripriya, Jiva Ravi, Maheshwari, Arjunna Keerthivasan, Priyadharsan, and Dumkan Maari in pivotal roles.

Varunan, which was under production for a long time, has cinematographer S Srirama Santhosh, editor U Muthayan, music director Bobo Shashi, action choreographer Dinesh Subbarayan, and art director Paddhu as part of its technical team.

Varunan is all set to hit theatres on March 14 alongside Rio Raj's Sweetheart.
