We had earlier reported that SJ Suryah will to headline and direct an upcoming film titled Killer, starring alongside Preethi Asrani.
Kerala production and distribution company Sree Gokulam Movies is officially making its Tamil debut with Killer, which will simultaneously be made in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
Wishing his Jigarthanda Double X co-star all success with his latest venture, actor-director Raghava Lawrence took to his social media handle to congratulate him on returning to direction after a decade. Lawrence added that he knows that more than anything, Suryah wants to become a lead actor and wishes that Killer be the big break to realise that dream.
SJ Suryah made his debut as a director with the Ajith starrer Vaalee (1999), he went on to make Kushi (2000), New (2004) and Anbe Aaruyire (2005). He has also made films in Hindi and Telugu, most of them are his Tamil remakes. His last directorial was Isai (2015), where he stars alongside Sathyaraj.
Apart from direction, SJ Suryah will also pen the screenplay and dialogues. Details about the film’s extended cast, crew and plot are yet to be disclosed by the makers. Killer will be co-produced by VC Praveen and Baiju Gopalan.
