
Actor Sivakarthikeyan, last seen in Rajkumar Periasamy's Amaran, is awaiting the release of his next Madharaasi, by AR Murugadoss.
Recently, Venkat Prabhu confirmed that he will collaborate with the actor in his next which will go on floors later this year. Speculations are on the rise that Siva will be collaborating with Pushkar-Gayathri, with Sam CS roped in as the composer.
The speculation, however, is yet to be confirmed by those reportedly involved in the project.
Described as a "massive action" film, Madharaasi also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Vikranth, Vidyut Jammwal, Shabeer Kallarakkal, and Biju Menon in prominent roles.
Produced under the Sri Lakshmi Movies banner, the film's technical crew also includes cinematographer Sudeep Elamon, and editor A Sreekar. The plot details for the film are under wraps. Besides Tamil, Madharaasi will also release in Telugu, Kannada and Hindi on September 5. The Hindi version of the film has been titled Dil Madharaasi.
