
Actor Vishal, who is basking in the success of his latest release Madha Gaja Raja, has announced that he is teaming up with Gautham Vasudev Menon and Ajay Gnanamuthu for his upcoming project. He has also confirmed that the long-awaited Thupparivalan 2 is in the making and will be released after his collaboration with Gautham Menon.
The actor revealed his line-up while speaking during the success event of Madha Gaja Raja, directed by Sundar C, which has been released to packed theatres after a 12-year-long delay. Sharing his happiness on the film's reception from the audience, Vishal also expressed his wish to team up with the Aranmanai filmmaker and Vijay Antony once again, while announcing that his 2015 film Aambala will be re-released soon.
"I am waiting to work with Sundar C sir again. If he confirms, I am ready to postpone my other commitments and start working with him. The audiences who watched the film in theatres expressed their wish to see another film with Sundar C, Vijay Antony, and myself," he shared.
A comedy entertainer, Madha Gaja Raja, was in the cans for over a decade due to financial issues. The film also starred Santhanam, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Anjali, and Sonu Sood in lead roles. Manivannan, Nithin Sathya, Sadagoppan Ramesh, and Manobala played supporting roles.
Gautham Menon's Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha was also released last year after a long delay. He is currently awaiting the release of Mammootty's Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse which marks his directorial in Malayalam. His other film Dhruva Natchathiram, headlined by Vikram, is yet to see the light of the day.
Ajay Gnanamuthu is known for directing the two Demonte Colony films as well as Imaikkaa Nodigal and Vikram's Cobra.
