As actor Ajith Kumar gears up to race in the 24H Dubai 2025 racing competition, Sivakarthikeyan has sent him his wishes, stating that the star's "unwavering passion and dedication" continues to inspire everyone.
The Amaran actor took to his social media handles and shared a picture of Ajith and his team in their racing attire and wrote, "Wishing the best, dear Ajith Kumar sir, for the 24H Series in Dubai! Your unwavering passion and dedication continue to inspire us all. May you achieve immense success in this as well, sir."
Ajith's team qualified for the race as they finished in the seventh pole position, clocking 2:03,476 (combined).
Meanwhile, Ajith, in a rare interview after several years, told a TV channel that he has been balancing acting and racing all these years but now that he is also the owner of a racing team (Ajith Kumar Racing), he needs to put more effort into the sport. He said he would not enter into any film commitments till September this year and will sign new films and act only from October to March.
His response came to the question whether production houses add clauses to the contract if he can enter races or not. He added that he doesn't need to be told what to do and what not to do.
Recently, he faced a minor crash during a practice session but escaped unhurt. The actor's racing team, Ajith Kumar Racing, comprises Mathieu Detry, Fabian Duffieux and Cameron McLeod. Duffieux is the team's manager. The race will be livestreamed on YouTube.
On the work front, he has Adhik Ravichandran's Good Bad Ugly slated for release on April 10 and Magizh Thirumeni's Vidaamuyarchi, which was initially scheduled for a Pongal festival release but is now awaiting a new release date.
