Actor Ajith Kumar is on the track and millions of fans are eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of their favourite star as he zooms in high speed during the 24H Dubai 2025 racing competition.
In an interview ahead of the race, the actor spoke about balancing his acting and racing careers. "It is all the same. They are both very physically and emotionally demanding jobs and so are other professions. It is just about how you compartmentalise and prioritise things right. And I hate multitasking, so I would not want to do that. Instead, I try to focus on one activity at a time and it is better in every way."
When asked if he is going to postpone his film committments to focus on racing, he spoke about how he has completed working on two projects (Vidaamuyarchi and Good Bad Ugly) with one due on January and the other scheduled for release in April. "This gives me time to focus on my racing profession," he added.
The actor also expressed his love for his fans when they cheered him on during the interview. He said, "You see these guys? I love them unconditionally."
In another news byte, Ajith said that he was not expecting the massive turnout for the competition.
On Friday, he said he would not enter into any film commitments till September this year and will sign new films and act only from October to March.
The actor's racing team, Ajith Kumar Racing, comprises Mathieu Detry, Fabian Duffieux, and Cameron McLeod. Duffieux is the team's manager. The race is being live streamed on YouTube.
On the work front, he has Adhik Ravichandran's Good Bad Ugly slated for release on April 10 and Magizh Thirumeni's Vidaamuyarchi, which was initially scheduled for a Pongal festival release but is now awaiting a new release date.
