The makers of Arya's upcoming spy thriller Mr X dropped the first single from the film 'Haiyodi' on Thursday.
The romantic number, featuring Arya and Anagha, is composed by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, sung by Kapil Kapilan, and written by Krithika Nelson.
The recently released teaser depicted the dormant secret agents springing into action after getting activated when a nuclear device goes missing from India. The film will revolve around how much the agents can be trusted with this operation. Interestingly, Manu Anand's previous film, FIR, which is also an espionage thriller, also deals with the themes of betrayal and trust, but in the context of Islamophobia.
In a previous conversation with CE, Manu said that Mr X would be an action drama. "The story revolves around two individuals, played by Arya and Gautham, who embark on a journey towards a common mission. The film unfolds with how their decisions lead them to a situation and how they come out of it," he says, adding that Mr X also explores father-son emotions.
In addition to Arya, the film also stars Manju Warrier, Sarath Kumar, and Gautham Ram Karthik in crucial roles, with the rest of the star cast consisting of Athulyaa Ravi, Raiza Wilson, Jayaprakash, Kaali Venkat, and Anagha.
The technical crew of Mr X consists of Arul Vincent cranking the camera, Dhibu Ninan Thomas composing music, and Prasanna GK handling the edit. The filming for Mr X is said to have taken place across India, Uganda, and European countries.
A release date for Mr X is yet to be announced.
