

In just three days of its release, director Ashwath Marimuthu's latest coming-of-age comedy-drama, Dragon, is said to have collected over Rs 50 crores globally. The film opened to positive reviews upon its release on February 21.
AGS Entertainment, the production company behind the film, shared the total collection and its breakup on Monday. Accordingly, the film has made Rs 24.9 crore in Tamil Nadu, Rs 6.25 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Rs 4.37 crore in Kerala, Karnataka, and the rest of India, and Rs 14.7 crore in overseas territory. The figure makes up Rs 50.22 crore in the past three days.
Our CE review of the film reads, "Ashwath Marimuthu crafts an immensely enjoyable and relatable coming-of-age story of an extremely flawed individual who suffers with the repercussions of his shortcuts as he attempts to turn the tides to chart a triumphant story."
Alongside Pradeep Ranganathan, the film also stars director Mysskin, Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, VJ Siddhu, and Harshath Khan.
On the technical team, Dragon has music by Ashwath's Oh My Kadavule collaborator Leon James, cinematography by Niketh Bommi, and editing by Pradeep E Ragav.
