At the Jana Nayagan audio launch, which took place in Malaysia on Saturday, actor-turned-politician Vijay insinuated his political game plan for the upcoming elections, having given a gag on addressing politics head-on. The actor, whose party has not yet gotten into alliance with any major players in Tamil Nadu, addressed his upcoming political moves, without directly speaking in terms of elections or politics.

Speaking about his political enemies, he said, "I may or may not have friends, but I certainly have many opponents. I cannot afford to waste my time fighting everyone. Standing up to the powerful is what truly proves our strength. Lately, there has been a lot of discussion about whether I will stand alone. When have I ever done that? For 33 years, I have had the unwavering support of you, my people. When this itself is such a strong team, how can I ever be alone?"

Further, Vijay also addressed the million-dollar question of TVK's political alliance while assuring that he would act upon every promise he makes. "Some of you may still wonder why I am not giving a clear answer about alliances or going solo. A little suspense adds to the excitement, doesn’t it? I am not saying this just to invite applause. These words come straight from my heart. I am speaking for my people. It is not enough to merely speak for them. I must prove it through my actions. Above all, only deeds done for the people deserve to be spoken about."

He concluded his speech with a bang, saying, "In 2026, history will repeat itself. Let us be ready to embrace it."

The grand event saw the presence of Jana Nayagan’s cast and crew, including Pooja Hegde, Priyamani, music director Anirudh Ravichander, lyricist Vivek, and choreographers Shobi Master and Shekar Master.

The celebrations were structured as a two-part spectacle. The first segment, titled Thalapathy Thiruvizha, was a tribute concert featuring more than 30 singers, such as Vijay Yesudas, Anuradha Sriram, SPB Charan, Tippu, Shweta Mohan, and Andrea Jeremiah, among others. This was followed by the official audio launch, highlighted by a live performance from Anirudh Ravichander.

Jana Nayagan, helmed by H Vinoth, is considered Vijay's swan song and is set to hit theatres on January 9. The film also stars Bobby Deol, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mamitha Baiju, and Narain, along with Vijay, Pooja Hegde, and Priyamani.
