The actor also added, "Legends never fade, they live on through the ideals they leave behind." MGR played a key role in the establishment of Nadigar Sangam, the association for actors from South India. According to Nadigar Sangam, the legendary actor once asked for membership in the organisation, which played a key role in its establishment. In the 1950s, the actor aided in the completion of the legal procedures involved in the organisation's registration as well. Once, he also offered 5 lakh to help the organisation pay back a loan.

Vishal also serves as the General Secretary at Nadigar Sangam, whereas Karthi holds the Treasurer post.
