Filmmaker Siruthai Siva, who has made several films starring Ajith Kumar, is in Malaysia to watch the actor take part in the 24-hour endurance race.
With Siva spotted in the track, rumour mills are suggesting that he is there not just for the race but also to narrate a story to Ajith Kumar.
The duo made its first collaboration with Veeram (2014). They went on to work on films such as Vedalam (2015), Vivegam (2017) and Viswasam (2019). Known for making commercial entertainers, the plots of Siva's films are woven around family relationships and complexities.
Siva last made the epic fantasy action film Kanguva, starring Suriya, Disha Patani, and Bobby Deol. The film was critically panned due to the lack of focus in the core plot and the meandering screenplay.
Ajith Kumar, meanwhile, was last seen in Adhik Ravichandran's Good Bad Ugly. The actor will collaborate with Adhik again for his 64th film and is expected to join the sets soon. Speaking about AK64, Adhik had said Good Bad Ugly was made for fans of Ajith, but this one will be made for all, and it is going to be an action entertainer.
