Actor Sivakarthikeyan advised his fans to not get distracted by social media and use their time constructively.
Speaking at the launch of Fanly Entertainment platform in Chennai, the actor said he doesn't want fans who worship him, and urged his fans only to worship God and parents. At the event, he was joined by former Indian badminton player Pullela Gopichand and chess prodigy Gukesh Dommaraju.
The actor said that though he has an account in all social media platforms, he is not fixated on what is being discussed on those apps. Fanly, according to developers, is a premium fan engagement platform which provides secure, personalised and positive interaction between a fan and his celebrity. Sivakarthikeyan is the first entertainment celebrity to join the plaform.
On the workfront, Sivakarthikeyan last appeared in AR Murugadoss' Madharaasi and will next be seen in Sudha Kongara's Parasakthi, which will be his first period film. Set in the 60s, the film will reportedly revolve around the anti-Hindi agitations that took place in Tamil Nadu. The film stars Sreeleela, marking her Tamil debut, alongside Atharvaa and Ravi Mohan in crucial roles.
The film will get Pongal release on January 14, 2026.
