The Madharaasi audio and trailer launch took place at Sai Ram College, Chennai on August 24. The film's lead Sivakarthikeyan, director AR Murugadoss, female lead Rukmini Vasanth, and music composer Anirudh Ravichander were present, amongst the rest of the cast and crew. At the launch, Sivakarthikeyan spoke for nearly 30 minutes on topics ranging from the famous scene from Vijay's GOAT, and how far his career has come. Here are 4 things Sivakarthikeyan said at the Madharaasi audio launch:
"Even after Jana Nayagan, when Vijay sir announced his political entry, his fans immediately turned into political workers and stood with him. On the other hand, even when Ajith sir simply goes for a car race, he still draws massive crowds — this, despite disbanding his fan club years ago. Kamal sir, the all-rounder, has fans who stand by him through wins and losses. And Superstar Rajinikanth has sustained his stardom for 50 years only because of his strong fan base."
"Many people are praising the scene in GOAT where Vijay sir gave me a gun. At the same time, it has sparked trolls and discussions. Some criticised that I am being projected as the ‘next Thalapathy’ — ‘Kutty Thalapathy’, ‘Thideer Thalapathy’ and so on. But if I had ever tried to do such things, Vijay sir wouldn’t have handed me that gun in the first place, and I wouldn’t have accepted it either. For me, he is always just ‘Anna’ and I'm always just his 'Thambi'. That moment is nothing but a good experience for me."
