Rajinikanth has been receiving plenty of love and appreciation from different parts of Indian cinema for his golden jubilee as an actor. Director-producer Vignesh Shivan is the latest to do so. Vignesh took to Instagram to pour out his love for the superstar, who completes 50 years in cinema this week. In an emotional post, Vignesh wrote, "First time I met you, couldn’t stop tearing up! Thalaiva … ! Everyone in this industry and everyone who knows you loves you! It’s only because you are truly a nice human being ! Being a star and being the human you are makes all this love justified ! 50 years of entertainment, 50 years of style , 50 years of so much love from so many of your loyal fans."
Vignesh revealed that he is looking forward to watching Rajinikanth's next film Coolie on the first day, first show. He also extended his best wishes to the cast and crew of Coolie.
Speaking of which, Coolie has a star-studded cast that also includes Shruti Haasan, Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Sathyaraj, as well as special appearances by Aamir Khan and Pooja Hegde. The film has music by Anirudh, a frequent collaborator of both Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj. Its technical crew includes editor Philomin Raj, action choreographers Anbariv, and cinematographer Gireesh Gangadharan as well.
