Following his speech at the 15th anniversary event of actor Suriya's educational NGO Agaram, the actor and Rajya Sabha MP penned a missive appreciating the latter's initiative in educating children.
Wrote in his MP letterhead, Kamal praised Suriya and the family's efforts in creating "doctors, innovators, and thought-leaders" as their success stories are not just individual triumphs but "living testaments to what education can accomplish when nurtured by compassion and a sense of public service."
He called the service rendered by Agaram for over a decade a "silent revolution".
Kamal further hailed Suriya's efforts as an embodiment of "the spirit of a just and progressive India". He goes on to add that Suriya's actions demonstrate how the "light of education, placed in committed hands, can dissolve the entrenched barriers of birth and circumstance."
He said that he will be a part of all the noble efforts of the actor in every capacity.
Kamal wished Suriya well on all his endeavours, saying, "It shall be said that while your name lit up screens and stages, it gleamed even more enduringly in the quiet triumphs of those you uplifted, the generations who carry forward the light you lit."
Thanking Kamal for his note and his presence in the event, Suriya responded saying, "Every word in your letter means a lot to my family & all of us at Agaram. Your presence was irreplaceable."
