Responding to the achievement through X, GV Prakash wrote that he is "truly overwhelmed and deeply grateful" to win the award. He extended his gratitude to the jury and selection committee and the whole Vaathi team. GV Prakash reserved special gratitude to Dhanush, as he selected the composer for the film. "Our continuous collaboration—from Polladhavan to Asuran, Vaathi and Idly Kadai—has been creatively fulfilling and rewarding for both of us," wrote GV Prakash.
The composer also thanked filmmaker Venky Atluri for the trust he showed on him and inspiring him to deliver his best output. "From Vaathi to Lucky Bhaskar, and now onto our next project—thank you, Venky, for the consistent trust and for bringing blockbuster moments into our journey," the composer shared. He went on to thank the film's producers Naga Vamsi and Trivikram, for "believing in" him and providing him with a chance to work on the film. "I am immensely grateful to my family, my incredible team of musicians, lyricists, technicians, my dear friends, and all my fans who have supported and believed in me," GV Prakash concluded.
