After a successful run at the box office, Vikram's latest film Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2 is gearing up for its OTT release. Directed by SU Arunkumar, the film is set to hit Prime Video on April 24.
Upon release on March 28, the film was praised for its gripping storyline and performances. An excerpt from the CE review of the film reads, "Vikram’s Kaali stands tall as a wonderful irony in a world as realistic as the one he inhabits in Veera Dheera Sooran. He is still your typical commercial cinema protagonist who stays one step ahead of everyone, who goes to any length to protect his loved ones, who can walk into a police station and still flip everything in a second so he is in charge of the room. But the calculated distance between his larger-than-life persona and the multi-dimensionality of his world provides an alluring juxtaposition rather than a jarring contrast. He still operates within the confines of the story world."
The film also starred Dushara Vijayan as the female lead, along with SJ Suryah in a key role. The film also marked the Tamil debut of popular Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu.
Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2 is the 62nd film in Vikram's career. The film has music by GV Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Theni Eswar, editing by Prasanna GK, stunt choreography by Phoenix Prabu, and art direction by CS Balachandar. It is produced by Riya Shibu under the banner HR Pictures.
