Actor Vishal, fresh off the success of Madha Gaja Raja, is reportedly all set to join hands with Eetti filmmaker Ravi Arasu. As per reports, the film is a commercial family entertainer.
Speculations suggest that the upcoming film is backed by Vishal’s home banner, Vishal Film Factory. Reportedly, Dushara Vijayan, last seen in Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, is being approached to play the female lead. If discussions materialise, the film will mark her first collaboration with actor Vishal.
As per some reports, the film is also scheduled to go on floors this month. However, an official confirmation is awaited from the film’s team.
Apart from Eetti, Ravi Arasu has also helmed the 2022 GV Prakash starrer Ayngaran. Meanwhile, in 2020, it was announced that he is directing a film with Shivarajkumar in the lead, titled RDX. However, details about the development of the film are scant.
Meanwhile, Vishal is currently working on Thupparivalan 2. During the success meet of Madha Gaja Raja, the actor also revealed that he is working on another project with Gautham Vasudev Menon, which he is more likely to complete before the Thupparivalan sequel. He also mentioned that he will be teaming up with director Ajay Gnanamuthu for another film. Official announcements regarding these projects are awaited.
