Mission- Chapter 1, the upcoming Tamil film, has cleared the censor formalities with U/A certificate, the makers of the film announced on social media. The film is set to hit the theatres on January 12.
Starring Arun Vijay, Nimisha Sajayan and Amy Jackson in the lead roles, the film is directed by AL Vijay. It is backed by Lyca Productions. The emotional action thriller revolves around a father and daughter, who get stranded in London.
Abi Hassan, Bharath Bopanna, Baby Iyal, Viraaj S, and Jason Shah form the supporting cast. The film's script is penned by A Mahadev. The film was earlier titled Achcham Enbadhu Illayae and was later changed to Mission- Chapter 1 after Lyca Productions came on board as producers.
Apart from music director GV Prakash, the film's technical crew also includes cinematographer Sandeep K Vijay and editor Anthony. Mission Chapter 1 is all set to hit theatres for Pongal this year, on January 12, alongside Dhanush's Captain Miller and Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan.
