Seeran trailer: An oppressed man returns to his native to defeat oppressors

The trailer for debutant director Durai K Murugan's Seeran was unveiled on Sunday. The film stars first-time actor James Karthik, Iniya, Aajeedh Khalique, and more.

The film is said to be based on incidents witnessed by actor James Karthik, who also wrote the script. The trailer shows that the story is about a son who struggles to reclaim the rights of his father that he lost due to his inter-caste marriage.

Durai K Murugan says Seeran will question the caste-hierarchy prevalent in society. The film also stars Soniya Agarwal, Krisha Kurup, Aadukalam Naren, Arunthathi Nair, Sendrayan, and Aariyan.

The technical crew of Seeran includes cinematographer Baskar Arumugam, music composers AK Sasidaran and Aravind Jerold, editor Ranjith Kumar, background music by Jubin, art director Ayyapan, and lyricists Snehan and Ku Karthik.

A release date for Seeran is yet to be announced by makers.
