With the release set for October 31, on Diwali, updates and announcements regarding Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Amaran have started coming in.
Kickstarting the series of updates, the makers have unveiled the character video of the film's female lead, Sai Pallavi, who plays Indhu Rebecca Varghese, wife of Major Mukund Varadarajan.
The glimpse shows Sai as a spirited Indhu who ensures she is with Mukund in all of his milestone achievements.
It was recently announced that the film's first single, 'Hey Minnale,' will drop at the end of the month.
Amaran tells the story of late army officer Major Mukund Varadarajan. The story is based on Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh's book India's Most Fearless.
Amaran stars Sivakarthikeyan as Major Mukund Varadarajan, a commissioned officer in the Indian Army's Rajput Regiment. Mukund Varadarajan was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his act of bravery during a counterterrorism operation while on deputation to the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion in Jammu and Kashmir.
On the technical front, it has music by GV Prakash, cinematography by CH Sai, editing by Kalaivanan, and stunt direction by Stefan Richter. Amaran is being bankrolled by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International along with Sony Pictures International Productions.
The film will clash with Jayam Ravi's Brother and Kavin's Bloody Beggar will clash with Amaran on the said release date.
