We had earlier reported that actors Attakathi Dinesh and Kalaiyarasan have teamed up for their next with Irandam Ulaga Porin Kadaisi Gundu director Athirai Athiyan's Thandakaaranyam.
The first look of the film, produced by Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions and S Sai Venkateswaran-S Sai Devanand's Learn and Teach Productions, will be out on Friday (September 27) at 6 pm.
The makers captioned the announcement poster saying that "forests are not just about trees and plants." The film's title, the name of the forest from the Hindu epic Ramayana, where Lord Ram was sent to exile, suggests the film will be set in a forest and will revolve around naxalism.
Apart from Dinesh and Kalaiyarasan, the film also stars Riythvika, Vinsu Sam, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Muthukumar, Arul Dass, Saranya Ravichandran, and Bala Saravanan.
The technical crew of the film comprises cinematographer Pratheep Kaliraja, editor Selva RK, and music composer Justin Prabhakaran.
The film completed shooting and entered the dubbing process as early as mid-July last year.
