Did Arjun spill the beans on Ajith-led Vidaamuyarchi's release date?

Last seen in H Vinoth's action thriller Thunivu on January 23, fans of Ajith Kumar are waiting with bated breath to catch their star on screen again. The actor has Vidaamuyarchi and Good Bad Ugly in his lineup.

Sharing screen space with Ajith after Mankatha 14 years ago, actor Arjun has been cast in a prominent role in this Magizh Thirumeni directorial. Talking at the event, Arjun, who asked about Vidaamuyarchi update, said he just finished the climax stunt sequence of the film and it will be gearing up for a December release.

It will be nothing short of a treat for Ajith fans if Arjun's statement turns out to be true, as Ajith's next, Good Bad Ugly, was announced to be eyeing a Pongal 2025 release, which means two Ajith films will be getting a theatrical release in subsequent months.

The ensemble cast of the film also includes Arjun Sarja, Trisha, Regina Cassandra, Arav and Nikhil Nair.

The shooting for Vidaamuyarchi began in October 2023. The film was initially supposed to be helmed by Vignesh Shivan, who was later replaced by Magizh Thirumeni.

The technical crew of Vidaamuyarchi includes cinematographer Nirav Shah, editor NB Srikanth, and music composer Anirudh Ravichander. The film's post-theatrical digital rights have been bagged by Netflix.
