Actor Sasikumar has released the trailer for his upcoming film Nandhan. The film is written, directed and produced by Era Saravanan, who last directed Udanpirappe with Sasikumar, Jyotika and Samuthirakani in lead roles. This is the actor's second collaboration with the director.
The 2.38-minute-long trailer hints at an emotional drama as Sasikumar, a humble labourer is determined to rise up to fight against his oppressors. He lives a simple life with his wife played by actor and Bigg Boss Tamil-fame Suruthi Periyasamy and their young son. He is insulted and made fun of by his head played by director-actor Balaji Sakthivel. Sasikumar's life goes topsy turvy as he decides to fight against them. How he overcomes these challenges form the rest of the story.
The film also stars Samuthirakani, Mathesh, Mithun, Katta Erumbu Stalin, V Gnanavelu, GM Kumar, Sithan Mohan and Sakthi saravanan.
On the technical team, the film has music by Ghibran Vaibodha, cinematography by RV Saran and editing by Nelson Anthony.
The film is set to hit theatres on September 20 alongside Hiphop Adhi's Kadaisi Ulaga Por, Harish Kalyan's Lubber Pandhu, Sathish's Sattam En Kaiyil and Seenu Ramasamy's Kozhipannai Chelladurai.
