The first single from Sasikumar's upcoming film, Nandhan, was unveiled on Wednesday. Composed by Ghibran, the romantic melody features stills of Shruthi Periyasamy and Sasikumar as husband and wife, along with a child. The song is crooned by Namitha Babu and penned by Eravi.
Era Saravanan is the writer and director for Nandhan. Balaji Shakthivel and Samuthirakani also star in this upcoming film which has been shot in parts of Thanjavur and Pudukkottai. The film has long been in the making; its first look was released through Udhayanidhi Stalin on social media in 2022.
The makers are yet to reveal further details about the plot of the film. On the technical front, Nandhan has Saran as the cinematographer and Nelson Anthony as editor.
Nandhan is all set to hit to hit theatres on September 20. Hiphop Adhi's Kadaisi Ulaga Por, Kaali Venkat's Dhonima and Harish Kalyan's Lubber Pandhu.
