Debut filmmaker Ezhil Periyavedi's Parari has been winning applause globally in film festivals. Filmmaker Raju Murugan, who is Ezhil's mentor and Parari's presenter, is also a reason the film is making the right noise in the festival circuit.
The makers of the film, on Thursday, released the first single titled 'Saambava'. The romantic number is composed by Sean Roldan, written by Uma Devi, and sung by Meenakshi Elayaraja.
The recently released teaser of Parari showed the plight of the oppressed community, who are at the mercy of the oppressive community even for basic amenities.
The film stars Hari Sankar of Thozhar Venkatesan (2019) fame as the protagonist and debutant Sangeetha Kalyan as the female lead. The film’s star cast comprises newcomers who underwent acting training for 6 months.
The technical team at Parari has music by Sean Roldan and lyrics by Uma Devi. Sridhar will crank the camera for the film while the editing is taken care of by Sam RDX.
The makers are yet to give a release date to the film.
