Revealing that she is indeed a part of Vijay's latest flick, The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT), actor Trisha, who was part of the song 'Matta', posted the behind-the-scenes pictures from the making of the song.
Trisha played the female lead in Vijay's previous film, Leo (2023), directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
GOAT opened to mixed to positive reviews upon its release on Thursday. The CE review of the film reads, "Every film, ultimately, is an exercise in storytelling, and in GOAT, that takes a backseat once the Thalapathy-Ilayathalapathy premise gets set up. Vijay is great as both characters (and I particularly enjoyed the young energy he brings to the role of Sanjay). Though there was much talk about the VFX potentially being a problem ahead of the film’s release, I had no real issues. The problem—the more serious one to me—is the film lacking a moral centre."
The makers announced today that the film has made Rs 126.32 crore at the box-office globally.
Apart from Vijay, GOAT also stars Prashanth, Ajmal Ameer, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhudeva, Mohan, and Jayaram in prominent roles. Joining them are Venkat Prabhu's frequent collaborators Vaibhav, Premgi, Ajai Raj, and Aravind Akash.
GOAT, directed by Venkat Prabhu, has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, editing by Venkat Raajen, art direction by Rajeevan, and action choreography by Dileep Subbarayan. Kalpathi S Aghoram has produced the film under the AGS Entertainment banner, with Archana Kalpathi serving as the creative producer.
The film was released in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu, with Zee Studios distributing it across North Indian states in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
