Kamal Haasan and Salman Khan are reportedly set to star in director Atlee's next film, according to several reports. While their involvement will supposedly be finalised this month after they hear a full and final version of the script from the Jawan filmmaker, sources say that things have been progressing smoothly till now.
According to a report by Pinkvilla, the film is expected to go on floors next January in what will be one of the biggest casting coups in Indian cinema. The makers are said to be constructing a set costing around Rs 15 crore, and a part of the shoot will happen in a palace in Hyderabad.
Kamal was last seen in Indian 2, the recently released sequel to his 1996 vigilante film with Shankar. His upcoming film projects include Thug Life, which reunites him with Mani Ratnam after 1987's Nayakan, and the Kalki sequel.
Salman Khan, meanwhile, is busy with the A.R. Murugadoss directorial Sikandar, which will hit screens next Eid. Sikandar will star Rashmika Mandanna, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Patil Babbar, Chaitannya Choudhry, and Nawab Shah, along with Khan, whose last release was Tiger 3.
