Disha Patani, who was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD, will be making her Tamil debut with the upcoming Suriya film Kanguva. Speaking in the audio launch function, the actor, whose character is named Angeline in the film, said that Kanguva is a spectacle that she is very happy to be a part of. 

"Director Siva is our teddy forever. He is kind and compassionate. Thank you for making me feel at home," said the Malang actor. Going on to appreciate Suriya, she thanked him for his patience and compassion. "Keep up the great work that you do in acting as well as in your foundation. You are helping many people dream and achieve the same," said Disha.

Patani then went on to mention that she is a big fan of Bobby Deol, who plays the antagonist in the historical epic. "I've danced so many times for the 'Naiyyo Naiyyo' song. I've also loved your work in Soldier." The second single from the film, titled YOLO, was released a few days ago and showcases Patani dancing with Suriya. Patani said they shot the song in just four days and thanked the music composer Devi Sri Prasad for the song. She also said that Vertri Palanisamy is the fastest cinematographer she has worked with.

Kanguva hits screens on November 14.
