The makers of Anl Arasu's Phoenix returned with an update from the film, days after giving out the release date.
The latest update is that Phoenix's first single 'Yaaraanda' will drop on October 25 at 5 PM.
The previously released teaser of Phoenix shows Surya as a professional boxer who is imprisoned for some reason. While we see him give importance to his sport as much as he gives importance to his life, we also see another party planning a jailbreak.
Apart from Surya, the film also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Harish Uthaman.
Surya has previously made appearances as a child artist in his father's films Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and Sindhubaadh. The star cast of Phoenix, apart from the lead actors, includes Muthukumar, Sampath, Dileepan, Vignesh, Varsha Viswanath, Abi Nakshatra, Sathya NJ, 'Atti' Rishi, and Poovaiyar.
The technical crew of Phoenix, produced by AK Braveman Picturess' Rajalakshmy Arasakumar, comprises music director Sam CS, cinemetographer R Velraj, editor Praveen KL, stunt choreographer 'Anl' Arasu, and executive producer MS Murugaraj.
Phoenix is scheduled to release in theatres on November 14.
