The maker's of Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film, Amaran, unveiled the second single from the film, titled 'Vennilavu Saaral' on Thursday. The romantic melody, composed by GV Prakash, has an undertone of meloncholy, and highlights the parenthood phase of Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi's characters, Major Mukund Varadharajan and Indu Rebecca Varghese, respectively. Kapil Kapilan and Rakshitha Suresh have lent their vocals to the song which is penned by Yugabharathi.

Previously, the makers unveiled the film's first single, 'Hey Minnale', which featured the voiced of Shwetha Mohan and Haricharan, and featured visuals of the couple falling in love.

Amaran is directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy. The film tells the story of late army officer Major Mukund Varadarajan. The story is based on Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh's book India's Most Fearless.

Major Mukund Varadarajan was a commissioned officer in the Indian Army's Rajput Regiment. Mukund Varadarajan was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his act of bravery during a counterterrorism operation while on deputation to the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion in Jammu and Kashmir. 

The technical crew also includes cinematographer CH Sai, editor Kalaivanan, and stunt director Stefan Richter. Amaran is bankrolled by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International along with Sony Pictures International Productions.

Upon release on October 31, the film will clash with Jayam Ravi's Brother and Kavin's Bloody Beggar.
