Vijay Antony's next titled Gagana Maargan

We had earlier reported that Vijay Antony will next star in editor Leo John Paul's directorial debut. On Wednesday, the makers of the film announced that it has been titled Gagana Maargan.

A murder mystery-crime thriller, Gagana Maargan is the 12th production of Vijay Antony Films Corporation.  The film promises to delve into the world of detective fiction. The title Gagana Maargan translates to "one who travels through air " in the Siddhar dictionary, according to a press statement shared by the makers. 

Apart from Vijay Antony, the film also stars Samuthirakani, Mahanathi Shankar, Prithika, Brigida Saga, Vinodh Sagar, Ajay Dhishan, Deepshikha, Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru Archana, Kanimozhi, and Anthagaram Natarajan.

Leo John Paul is notable for working in the first two parts of the Pizza franchise: Attakathi, Soodhu Kavvum, Mundasupatti, Thegidi, and Indru Nettru Naalai. He has also bagged the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Editor for Vijay Sethupathi starrer Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara.

The technical crew of Gagana Maargan comprises cinematographer Yuva S, art director Raja A, music composer Vijay Antony and editor Leo Paul John.  The film is set to feature underwater sequences shot in Mumbai and impressive visual effects.

Billed to be a family-friendly film, Gagana Maargan is gearing up for a theatrical release soon. The film is also expected to release in Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and Telugu apart from Tamil.
