
As actor Soubin Shahir turns 41 today, director Lokesh Kanagaraj shared the experience of working with him in his upcoming action film Coolie, starring Rajinikanth in the lead.
Wishing the Manjummel Boys actor, Lokesh Kanagaraj, said it was an enthralling experience working with him. Coolie is Soubin's Tamil debut.
Recently, Rajinikanth had to give a pause to his professional life owing to health issues. It is worth noting the film has wrapped up the Hyderabad schedule. After going under an endovascular repair for a swelling near his heart, Rajini was advised to be in rest for some days. Lokesh said Rajini informed him prior about going under surgery and that he will be filming other portions in the meantime.
Coolie brings Rajinikanth and Lokesh together for the first time and reunites the actor with Sathyaraj after 1986's Mr Bharath. Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures is producing the film. It has music by Anirudh, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, and stunts by Anbariv. The production house is yet to set a release date for Coolie. They have also been keeping plot details under wraps since the film commenced production this July. According to reports, they will next shoot the film in Chennai later this October.
