The makers of Ezhil Periyavedi's Parari released the trailer on Friday, ahead of the film's release.
The trailer shows the caste and language barrier and the resultant violence, apparently in areas bordering Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The glimpse suggests that themes of caste, language, class and inter-caste love would be brought up to discussion in Parari.
Director Raju Murugan, who presents the film, described it as a "breathtaking and nerve-wracking experience" and added that it will debut in theatres soon. Ezhil Periyavedi worked as an associate director for Raju Murugan.
The Gypsy director is presenting this film in association with SP Cinemas. The film stars debutant Sangeetha Kalyan as the female lead. The film’s star cast comprises newcomers who underwent acting training for 6 months.
The technical team at Parari has music by Sean Roldan and lyrics by Uma Devi. Sridhar will crank the camera for the film while the editing is taken care of by Sam RDX.
As of now, Parari, Prabhudeva's Jolly O Gymkhana and Naveen Chandra's Eleven are scheduled to release in theatres on November 22.
