Amaran has been making waves throughout India, resonating with audiences across languages. With several celebrities congratulating the film and its makers, music composer and singer Anirudh has also stepped in to say a few words.

Speaking about the film, he said, "Amaran is cinema at its best," and went on to congratulate the cast and crew, especially Sivakarthikeyan. "Proud of my Sivakarthikeyan more than ever. Heartfelt congrats and big ups to my brother Rajkumar Periasamy and your whole technical team for creating this."

Anirudh and Sivakarthikeyan started their career almost at the same time. In 2012, Sivakarthikeyan made his debut with Marina, while Anirudh debuted as a composer with Dhanush's 3, which also had the actor playing a prominent role.

Amaran also has Sai Pallavi playing Indhu Rebecca Varghese, Bhuvan Arora playing Sepoy Vikram Singh and Rahul Bose as Mukund's Commanding Officer, Colonel Amit Singh Dabas.

The supporting cast of the film also includes Lallu, Shreekumar, Shyam Mohan, Ajaey Naga Raaman, Mir Salman and Gaurav Venkatesh. It is based on Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh's book India's Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Millitary.

Amaran's technical crew includes music composer GV Prakash Kumar, cinematographer CH Sai, editor Kalaivanan, and stunt director Stefan Richter. The film is bankrolled by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International along with Sony Pictures International Productions.
