As promised, actor Bhuvan Arora, who played a pivotal role in the recent action drama Amaran, has shared the BTS stills and video from the film on Friday.
In a video where Siva is seen driving and Bhuvan riding a pillion, both sing 'Yeh Dosti', the popular number from the Hindi classic Sholay that cherishes friendship.
Amaran opened to positive reviews upon its release on Thursday from critics and audiences alike. The film, according to the makers, has collected Rs 43 crore worldwide on Day 1. The CE review of the film reads, "Sivakarthikeyan will no doubt secure many plaudits for his physical transformation, for owning the action scenes and the motivational speeches… but I caught myself being especially impressed with how he seemed to radiate an effortless sense of goodness and vulnerability, despite his job requiring him to be an alpha male at all times. Watch him tear up as he pleads for a teammate’s life. Watch the joy in his eyes during his OTA ceremony, with Indhu smiling softly in the background in a beautifully composed shot. Watch him hug Indhu and daughter and walk away, but change his mind to return to steal another embrace from them both. These are powerful, heartfelt moments."
The Rajkumar Periasamy film that stars Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi in the lead, also has Bhuvan Arora as Sepoy Vikram Singh and Rahul Bose as Mukund's Commanding Officer, Colonel Amit Singh Dabas.
Amaran tells the real story of the late Major Mukund, a recipient of Ashoka Chakra. Mukund received the honor for his "exemplary leadership skills, raw courage and swift action" while fighting militants in Kashmir in 2014.
