Dhanush shares an interesting update on Raayan

Actor Dhanush has shared an update on his 50th film Raayan's post-production works.

On his social media handle, the actor posted that the background score of the film is done with a picture of AR Rahman and a scene from the film. He added that "A storm is coming."

Two songs from the film - 'Adangatha Asuran' and 'Water Packet' have been released so far.

Apart from Dhanush, the cast also features Kalidas Jayaram, Sundeep Kishan, SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in pivotal roles.

The shooting of Raayan, which is directed by Dhanush and bankrolled by Sun Pictures, was wrapped in December last year and is currently in the post-production stage.

The rest of the technical crew includes cinematographer Om Prakash, editor Prasanna GK, and action choreographer Peter Hein.

Besides Raayan, Dhanush's big line-up includes Shekhar Kammula's Kubera, Mari Selvaraj's D 52, and Ilaiyaraaja biopic with Arun Matheswaran. The actor is also directing Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam or NEEK, starring a bunch of upcoming actors.

The film is slated to be released on June 13, 2024.
