We reported that Vidaarth's next film is titled Anjaamai the other day. Now, the makers have announced that the film received a U certificate from the Censor Board. The announcement comes not long after they shared the title poster for the film. Directed by SP Subburaman, the film also stars Vani Bhojan, who was last seen in 2023's Love.

The poster features Vidaarth seated with Vani Bhojan's character and their children in the foreground of a burning newspaper clipping, which conveys that the NEET has taken the life of a person. It hints at a film exploring the complexities of the underprivileged who struggle to crack the exam for an MBBS seat.

The film has cinematography by Karthick, editing by Ramsudharsan, and music by Raghav Prasad. The makers plan to release it in June, but an exact date is yet to be revealed. Details regarding plot and the remaining cast members are also awaited.

Vidaarth, who was last seen in the February release Devil, will next be seen as a police officer in director Saji Saleem's Laandhar.
